Every Thursday we like to post a picture of something we've found online that inspires us to do something similar at the farm. Sort of our own blog bulletin board so that we can eventually look back and someday, hopefully anyway, recreate it...enjoy!

While looking at photos of clay pots in flower beds, I found this. It's oddly satisfying for some reason. Maybe the pattern of pots of varying shapes and sizes, maybe the succulents, it's just cool. Certainly a great way to use a bunch of random clay pots.
Be inspired!
Oh, what a beautiful display of succulents. The variety of succulents and the display of different size pots really makes for a cute and pleasing vocal point in the yard or under a tree like shown. Adding the white rocks really sets everything off nicely.
ReplyDeleteI do love your inspiration Thursdays.
Thanks for that. We just try to find something that we really want to do eventually. Coming soon it might also include house medication ideas, ha. I never thought about it but you're right the white rocks really makes it look nice, a contrast.
DeleteThat is seriously cool and might just have "for the big tree in the front yard at the lake place" written all over it!
ReplyDeleteCool, if you do something like that, send us a pic if it comes out like you want!
DeleteOMB, that is FABULOUS! so many succulents, so little time...
ReplyDeleteSucculents are such an underrated plant. They are so pretty in their own way. They remind me of rocks.
DeleteReally pretty with the different sizes and shapes of the pots and the various colors of the succulents. The hanging pots add more interest and height. A beautiful, artistic composition.
ReplyDeleteI like the ones hanging in the trees too. This is a great way to use up all those random clay pots we all have sitting around.
DeleteI love clay pots, and wish I had this many and in this much variety! I'm doing more with containers this year, because I can move them to the little pockets of light that filter through the trees. But few are clay pots. I'll keep looking for them at tag sales :)
ReplyDeleteI went to a garage sale once and a lady had so many clay pots, empty, and $1.00 each. I bought a few, went home to get a different car, came back and they were all gone. Sigh. I've seen them on sale at garden centers at the end of season.
