Here are Brisbane and Hobart, sound to sleep in the window more than 10 stories up.
Of course, Hobart got the spot on the desk because he likes to stretch out and lay on his side, Brisbane takes the window ledge because the warmth feels good on his old bones.
When we first moved in to the apartment, they were wary of the windows...now we can't keep them away.
Oh, what a life. Brisbane looks so uncomfortable but then cats sleep in just about any position
ReplyDeleteOh that's the way he sleeps most of the time. It does look uncomfortable through, ha. He's our oldest so I think it's just more comfortable that way.
DeletePeople watching! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the occasional bird that flies by, ha.
DeleteSuch excellent names.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Aw, thank you!!!
DeleteCute! I'd love to have a nice sunny window to nap by right now! :)
ReplyDeleteNapping in the sun is kind of relaxing isn't it?
DeleteI guess sleep trumps fear.
ReplyDeleteCats always seem kinda fearless (or dumb, LOL!). I guess that's where the whole 9 lives comes from.
DeleteMy father always said that to find the most comfortable spot in the house we needed to watch the cats. He had a point, but the table isn't my preferred sleeping spot.
ReplyDeleteHa, good point. Yeah, not the desktop either.
DeleteGreat photo!! Looks like a good spot to me too.
ReplyDeleteThey loved it.
DeleteDidn't realize you were on the 10th floor. We are on the 11th here.
ReplyDeleteIt's different living up high isn't it?
Deletea cat's place! have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteNot spoiled at all, ha. Thanks!! Sorry for the late reply.
DeleteI love sleepy kitty photos. Yours look so perfectly contented. They really know how to live the life of leisure!
ReplyDeleteThey just relax wherever and whenever.
DeleteAnimals, you've got to love them, not a care in the world.
ReplyDeleteMyself and heights don't get along. Just looking at the photo down to the cars makes me queasy!
I don't mind the window, I'll stand right in it and look out but the balcony, nope, I'm good. ha. Thanks for stopping by!!!
Deletethey are braver cats than i!
ReplyDeleteI understand. :-)
DeleteI still like your old "solar collecting" comment
ReplyDeleteOh they still love to do that. I need to do an updated photo for that.
DeleteI'm getting vertigo just looking at the picture and I envy them the ability to nap during the day. Oh to be a cat!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? Oh to be a cat......in the right household, ha.
DeleteCats, I believe, have a natural superiority complex. Often finding elevated spots to look down on us humans, haha
ReplyDeleteHobart and Brisbane are certainly not spoiled or anything ;)
Not at all, hope. LOL! I never thought about them liking to look down on us. They DO do that don't they? ;-)
Deletean aussie here ... curious about the cats naming of aussie cities
ReplyDeleteI need to go back and answer all these but I wanted to start here. I have always had a fascination with Australia and it's on my bucket list to visit someday. Just always been enamored of your country. So back in 1995 when I got my first cat, I named him Sydney. I liked the name for its connection to Australia. Then 2nd man and I got together and bought a house and we found the gray and white one as an abandoned kitten in the back yard. So we decided to stay with the names from there and used Brisbane. Sydney had a good long life and we lost him a couple years back (he lived to almost 19). We got the black one around that time and of course he had to be named for an Australian city. If he had been a 'she' it was going to be Adelaide. Alas, he was a 'he' and so I got a list out and it was between Melbourne and Hobart. He just looked like a Hobart and so here we are, ha. Thanks for stopping by!!! Come back anytime!!
