BUTTER CROCK, THRIFT STORE FIND

Grover Farms Butter Crock
I scored this awesome find at a local thrift store over the weekend, for, are you sitting down?  $1.25!
It's a vintage, covered butter crock, printed with a great image of a cow and the words "Fresh Butter".  It looks like it came from a dairy farm called "Grover Farms".  It will be a great place to keep our homemade butter.  Will save that for another post later on...

  2. Oooooh, I want it! I'm the only butter eater at my house, and I like it at room temperature. That would be way cooler than the plastic bag mine is in at the moment! Plastic bags of butter are not very pretty counter accessories ;-)

  4. I love it! I found one recently too but it didn't have the nice lid! Enjoy - and butter is so much fun to make - you should give it a whirl in your food processor!
