INSPIRATION THURSDAY, A COTTAGE GARDEN

Cottage Garden, courtesy of:  Garden Web
Now, please don't think this is our cottage garden, ha.  It's a picture I found online while looking for fence ideas recently.  If ever there was a picture that inspired us to create something of beauty, this would be it.

If I could come up with something half as nice as this, I'd be happy.  I just love the colors, the variety, the random nature of the design...just very pretty!!

OK, blog day off today, so I'll see you back here tomorrow!

Have a great day!

  2. That has to be one of the prettiest garden I've ever seen. I saw a similar one on GardenWeb that had vineing flowers growing up brightly painted ladders. I absolutely fell in love with it.

  7. Beautiful! and See?!?! It has a white picket fence, my first choice for your garden fence! My chain link fenced garden just doesn't look the same. (not that the plants inside were ever that beautiful!) if it just weren't for deer in your area that could just lean over a white picket fence and enjoy lunch.

  9. Bee Girl - Isn't it pretty? I just love it. It's amazing what some people can come up with. Makes me want flowers all over the place, ha.

Carol - You noticed the picket fence!! Yes, i LOVE that. You know I was thinking maybe I could do one thing around the garden (since it's away from the house) and then maybe I could figure out a picket fence around/near part of the house. Best of both worlds?

John - Ray, you can call me Ray! But I'll answer to anything, ha. I will have to check out further back on your blog (your postings are hilarious btw) and see your cottage garden! Thanks!!

High Desert - Thank YOU so much that was very thoughtful!

Heather - A friend of mine saw the blog entry and said the same thing "that's a painting!". Too funny!

Granny - Vining flowers? Up a ladder? I'm all over that, I'll let you know what I find!!

Sue - I can imagine you're going stir crazy about now. I'll try to find pretty, bright, colorful pics on Thursday, at least till everyone is out of Winter! ha.
