Yes, I practice free range gardening...sometimes against my will, ha. But yeah, I think we often do this huh? A little here, a little there, I think it makes for a more eclectic landscape.
Just never thought to call myself a free range gardener, ha.

the one at the front looks like me!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am definitely doing that this year! With my old raised beds set in at an angle, one end of my new garden ending up as two triangles, and the remaining new garden area being rectangular, I find myself with several "spots" that need to be filled in with something circular, as well as newly available vertical growing space against the back fence! I'm thinking cantaloupe and cucumber tepees might fit the bill for the circles, and pole beans for the fence, but they will definitely be "free range"!
ReplyDeleteGranny, I think that's you in the back to the right!
DeleteLOL, Robin, and that's you on the left! Where's 1st. Man?
DeleteI'm the one "sketching the cartoon", LOL!!! Someone has to take the picture, ha.
DeleteOh my, Granny your garden sounds so nice. I'm still disappointed I didn't get to it for Spring, but I'll work on it. And I'm working on a small scale "city version" that I'll be unveiling soon, ha. Can't wait to see yours (and yours too Robin!!).
DeleteSometimes, freerange design is the best most natural looking. That's too cute. Never thought to call it that. thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, thanks for stopping by. Yes, I've heard of free range chickens but never free range gardeners, LOL!
