The pin is the farm.
Storm intensity goes from light, the green and yellow, to heavy, orange and red, to apocalyptic end times dark red, LOL.
This is the farm just before the rain hit. I don't think we'll have to worry about watering the garden and fruit trees THIS weekend. Weather report is saying about 2-3 inches of rain. I will have to check in with 2nd Family and see what the final total is.
Storm clouds at the farm |
lucky you! send some my way. i planted all day and the ground was bone dry!
ReplyDeleteI sent it, hope you got it, ha. Our ground has been bone dry as well. I'm hoping this softens things up a bit.
DeleteYes, please send some my way. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteHope you get rain soon. I know it's been so dry for a lot of the states.
DeleteMan, you guys have had soooo much rain. Your plants will love it.
ReplyDeleteWe've had some dry weeks this year but this rain was good and much needed.
DeleteI could use some, too. I planted Tuesday and need the rain. We've had rain clouds just skirt by us for days... and nothing.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. The farm had the rain and it got dark and thundered in town, looked like lots of rain coming and never rained a drop. Go figure. Hope you get rain too!
DeleteThere is nothing better than a good soaking rain to boost the plants in the garden. Texas really needed this rain. The lakes here in the DFW area are down anywhere from 9 to 12 feet. Our rain gauge showed we got 2.7 inches. Better than Christmas. Ha
ReplyDeleteBTW how is your tomato plant? Did you find out what was wrong with it?
Yes, we needed it. I know how bad it's been all over Texas. When we get rain we feel the same way, it's like a great gift from above (and I guess it is isn't it? Ha).
DeleteOh, and yes the tomato, I checked for bugs, didn't see any I think it was just a bit dry, it's getting better...slowly than the other plants but I guess it was a bit behind.
DeleteI got only .2 of an inch from this rain system :(
ReplyDeleteSo glad that your farm got a much needed soaking! My grandma always said that rain was fertilizer from heaven.
Texas Rose
Dang. That's too bad. Hope you get rain soon. Fertilizer from heaven, I love it!! Wise words from her!!
