This is the moon one evening at the farm...the camera usually takes a sharp clear picture of the moon when I've done it in the past...but on this particular evening, the moon had such a bright glow...
Moon quote |
...it was almost as if it was lit up from the inside. Definitely a beautiful sight from the front porch as it rose over the trees. Yet another thing we love about having our place away from the city.
It just doesn't get any better than this!

Simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd perfect quote.
Thank you much!
Deletejust lovely - and i fully understand the allure of being in the country. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful? You know very well. :-)
DeleteI know what you mean. I often try to describe the feeling of living where we do, surrounded by bush and space, peace and wildlife. I've come to believe that it comes from feeling physically and spiritually connected to your environment. It's a feeling you experience deep in your soul and by god, it's good!
ReplyDeleteVery well put. Thank you for putting it into words! It's good and rejuvenating isn't it?
DeleteWow, that could be a poster or one of those framed inspirational things, haha. Nicely done. And color me jealous of having a place in the country! Becca
ReplyDeleteWell, hello Becca, thank you for the kind words!! And hey, if you have a dream of a place in the country, just keep the goal in mind and you can make it happen someday!
DeletePerfect
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
DeleteSuch a beautiful photo
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, at first I thought it wasn't good but the more I looked at the glow, I liked it.
DeleteI love moon shots.
ReplyDeleteThey are hard to capture just right but they are so beautiful when they are captured, huh? Thanks!!
DeleteWhen do you go pro? You are very good at this.
ReplyDeleteYou are too sweet. This is as pro as it gets....ok, for now anyway, ha. ;-)
DeleteI am betwixt leaving the farm for a move to the city after more than 30 years. It is a hard decision and I made a list of Go or Not to Go. At the top of my Not To Go list is - the stars. I look at them every night; in the summer float in the pool and watch the stars come out.
ReplyDeleteOh, Donna, I didn't realize that. I hope it all works out for you. And side note, I thought I had been a follower of your site but I don't think I was (or I had been logged out or something). Sorry about that! Now I have to go back and catch up.
