RAINY START TO THE WEEKEND

Sorry no new post since Thursday, had trouble with the internet in our building and it's too hard to try to do on a phone, ha. But today all is up and running.

Speaking of all up and running, we're off the farm today to check on things after a large storm passed through last night/this morning.  The farm is under all that red and orange on this radar image.  We're glad because we need the rain but hoping no damage.  They say there were heavy winds and some hail reported.

Luckily, it was fast moving.  Probably will be too wet to mow and won't need to water the fruit trees for sure.

Oh and of course, we have to be back in town because...

...we are only one win away from the World Series Championship.  We have tonight and/or tomorrow to get it done.  More tomorrow for our Good Food and Hobart Sunday post...

Hope y'all have a good weekend!

Go Astros!

  1. I think we got 1/2” at the most and little wind. Glad it wasn’t as bad as north Texas. Deb

  2. We had heavy rain and wind all night here in Southern Illinois. It's still pretty windy but the sun is shining now.
Have a great trip to the farm.

  4. Receiveed an inch of rain fall here; strong breeze but really no 60mph winds.

Congratulations to the Astros on them winning the World Series.
