Well, today will be a washout...of course I need to mow at the farm, have the garden stuff to do from "the list"...have the holes to dig for the trees/bushes...and it's pouring rain. Sigh. Glad for the rain but come on, how about next time during the week instead of the weekend?
The good news? It's a front that is pushing through...so it won't be prolonged rainfall and there will be cooler air behind it.
So it looks like today will have to be a day in town running errands and relaxing and then tomorrow will be off to the farm.
Hope your weekend is off to a better start.
Anyone have any big plans? We can live vicariously through others!
My big plan is to pressure wash the house, ha. You wanna help, haha. - Betty
ReplyDeleteI hope you got it pressure washed...and I'd help if I could (and you were nearby, ha).
DeleteI bought some more mums - their yellow color is a cheerful greeting on my front porch.
ReplyDeleteI’m planting a few more red cabbages - they’ll be a colorful addition to all kinds of dishes.
The “Salad Bowl” variety of lettuce arrived at the nursery - so they are on the planting schedule.
Tomorrow - a Fall Festival with lots of music, food, friends, and fun!
The rain arrived, watered everything, and left - now the sun is shining! And cooler weather on Monday - yeah!
Have fun at the Farm tomorrow. Hoping there are NO slithery or scampery visitors there!
I bet your place is pretty...isn't this weather wonderful??? Make me want to open all the windows...
DeleteWe've had a lovely sunny day and temps around 13C so no complaints here.....a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend for us Canucks (well, at least here in Ontario lol).
ReplyDeleteNice weather for you too! And Happy Thanksgiving!!
DeleteRain is just what we need. We were so dry. Our weekend is covered with rain so working inside.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Glad you are getting some rain! When you need it, it's so welcome. And there is always inside stuff to do, right?
DeleteIt drizzled a bit. I took care of my hens. And, I returned something to KMart on Saturday. But, I am sure I have tools that might fit your hand.
ReplyDeleteLOL! There's always something to do, right? Ha. Hope the hens are happy!
DeleteThat is some seriously "wet". Growing up out West, I'm familiar with constant rain coming in off the coast. I tell people I'm really blonde, my hair just rusted.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
DeleteWe definitely get "the wet" often in these parts, sometimes more than we want, ha.
DeleteAnd I'm with Tonya, LOL! That is funny!!!!!
Just more work on the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteNever a dull moment, right? Ha. Good luck!!
