INSPIRATION THURSDAY

For some reason, I'm unable to load photos while I'm trying to create this post.

SO, since we can't post something that we found that inspires us, how about we do something different?

SHARE SOME OF YOUR INSPIRATION!

Just share whatever it is that you feel is good inspiration.

Maybe it's a link to a favorite farm/gardening related website?
A gardening or seed catalog online?
A quote that reminds you of what's important?
Some wise old gardening advice?

Tell us what inspires you!

What really inspires me is the dream of moving away from this village in a few years and buying a property with my boyfriend, settling down, becoming semi-hermits, enjoying our time together with our pets and each other in the woods and by the lake. That helps me through rough times here with loud neighbours and irresponsible people with loose dogs everywhere. I'm also inspired by the idea of a big permanent garden...so that's helping me this year with my container garden!

Layering and backdrops. It takes decades to do it properly, but when mature, breathtaking.

When we moved from the city to the country I always wanted a large screened in gazebo http://www.adirondackstoragebarns.com/wooden-gazebos.
No gazebo, but will have a barn shed of my very own which is just as good if not better.
1st man, I kinda like this idea of everyone partaking of inspirations every now and then from everyone.

Wish full thinking here on my part but oh, so pretty. Just need to have a gardener as well who works cheap :}http://www.loversiq.com/o/221261163/outdoor-garden/221261/

I am not sure this is inspiration but I have it in my kitchen and it makes me smile each time I see it. It is a small wooden plaque hanging in the middle window of the bay windows in the breakfast room that says very simply;
I HAVE FLYING MONKEYS
and I'm not afraid to use them!

Southern Bottle trees - colored bottles, mainly blue, placed on a real tree or one constructed from metal. I saw one several years ago at The Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham, Texas and thought it was so pretty in the sunlight.

I have an worn apple green sign with the following quote "We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."

This quote has been wrongly attributed to Sir Winston Churchill and Norman MacEwan (Sr. Commander Royal Air Force), as confirmed by the Churchill Society. The earliest print of this quote was 12/13/1944 in Mirrorgrams. I have yet to finish my research as to whom this quote belongs, regardless it a fine motto to live by.

My inspirations come from Google. Whenever I am thinking of doing something, creating something, researching something, I turn to Google and then click 'Images'. Oh the inspirations come thick and fast. Even if I have an idea about something, there will always be an image (mostly a better one) waiting for me to drool over.

Great point! I'm not sure I have decades (I hope I have a few more anyway) but you are so right, it's incredible when planned and done right. Thanks!!

THAT is an awesome plaque. Heck, I might have to print that out in a fancy font and put it up in OUR kitchen!!!

You know, I never thought about one of those at the farm. I like that idea, it's instant color and more or less permanent. Thank you!!!
