Today, for the first time in two weeks, it's off to the farm to check on things.
Brrr...it's 46 degrees right now!
It's possible I might have to mow, or at least mow the driveway and maybe around the orchard area. We've had rain the last couple of weeks and we asked "J" from 2nd Family, she said it was still green (late December!) but hadn't grown much. So we shall see if I'll mow or wait.
I do want to check the porch plants (now beside the barn plants, ha) and water if needed. Then, there's nothing else to do out there so I'll come back!
Hope you all are off to a good weekend start.
We had a bit of frost on the yards this morning but then it was 32 deg. Has warmed up some; in the mid 50's today.
ReplyDeleteMy brother who lives in Ohio had temperature of 26 deg.; so guess we can't complain much of our cooler temperature here in Texas; it could always be worse.
Kick-off time for the football game being played in PA. today was going to be 24 deg. and not going to get any warmer anytime during the mustang game. No way could I sit out there in the stadium when it's that cold.
Our yard is still green but it does / should be mowed. Hope your plants faired well during your cold spell.
Enjoy your evening. Stay safe and stay warm.
I hope you had a good day at the Farm. It did start out pretty chilly this morning. I was out at 7:00 and it was in the low 40’s. It warmed up later on, so I could pick my garden.
