CAMO CAT, FELINE FRIDAY

Neo the Cat, trying to hide in grass
This is one of 2nd Family's cats.  His name is Neo (The Matrix was popular when they got him as a kitten).  He's so funny when he's stalking around the yard.  He tries to hide and we all laugh because he stands out like a sore thumb...not so camouflaged after all, ha.  We can see him an acre away when he's sitting in the middle of the field, although one time I remember he was curled up sleeping by a tree and I asked "is that a soccer ball in the back pasture?"

He's the sweetest cat, he's getting older now and all he wants is a comfortable lap to sit in.  Whenever we see him, we're always glad to provide that.

Friday, here finally.  Phew, long week.
More later this afternoon/evening.

Perhaps it's not what you think. Maybe he thinks he looks good surrounded by green. The perfect colour to show off his magnificence. How better to stand out and show off his beautiful colouring?

May you have a rodent free weekend at the farm.

Poor Neo, being mocked for his fantastic version of "Cat camouflaged while sitting in field". Just remember the only thing cats dislike more than being told they are not invisible when they want to be, is knowing they are being laughed at. It nice that Neo has plenty of warm laps to nap in.
Have a great week-end. Sounds like its been a busy week for you.

He knows the green background is the perfect complement for his gorgeous green eyes!

He is beautiful. And lucky, in that he has so many loving laps to snuggle into!

LOL, great comment! Made us laugh. He always has a nice warm lap for sure. It was a busy week at work and a busy weekend at the farm. But I'd do all of them at the farm if I had the choice, ha.

He sure does doesn't he? I never thought about that.

He's a lucky kitty for sure. He was found as a stray kitten at their farm. He was the tiniest little thing and he's definitely a senior cat, hence the reason he probably just likes to see in laps, ha.

Aww, thanks!! He's a beauty and I love visiting him, he's also one of those vocal cats, he meows when he wants your attention and won't stop until you give him some loving. :-)
