Well the Farmer's Almanac put out its annual Winter forecast. Not sure how accurate their track record is, but we'll take this forecast for our region, ha.
It's showing us as "warm, dry". Last Winter was definitely "wet, cold" and that's actually what it showed last year. Hmm...
Anyone know of any other weather forecasting places? (loooong range forecasting of course).
Will catch up on comments this weekend!
The Almanac is pretty accurate in their predictions. The last I read; we are to have mild winter.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what is predicted, we have no choice but to accept what is given; rain or shine; snow and /or ice; sunny or cloudy, etc., etc.

Cool, all seem to line up, mostly. One has us a bit wetter than normal but they all have us a bit milder than cold and I'm ok with that.
DeleteI'll definitely take the warm part after the killing-freezes last winter when I lost several fruit trees. Hoping that we do get some rain during the winter though because my fall/winter garden will need it.
ReplyDeleteYes, lets hope it's a milder winter. It seems those hard freezes are less common, but fingers crossed.
DeleteRight now, it is 90 F and 70% humidity. I love it. Well, not the high humidity which makes the heat worse. This next week, 90s are predicted until the temp drops to high 80s. I love this heat.
ReplyDeleteWe tolerate the heat, ha. But cooler weather is on the way, or so they say.
DeleteI usually go by the Almanac. Once in a blue moon I'll check the weather network, but I think they also use the Almanac! Our winter says "cold and snowy" boo hoo hoo!!!
ReplyDeleteDo you ever have not cold and snowy? Ha. We're cold but never snowy. We just get ice on occasion and scattered mid 20's (F). Stay warm!!!
