NATIONAL FOOD DAYS, A NEW FEATURE

This is a feature I was going to add at the first of the year and then got sidetracked by work and it slipped my mind.  But seeing as how we are only halfway through the month, I'll try again.


Did you know that pretty much any given day of the year is at least one, if not more, "National Food Day"?

So I'll go ahead and start it.  It will be called
"THIS WEEK IN FOOD"


Monday:
National Fig Newton Day

and


National Hot and Spicy Food Day


Tuesday:
National Hot Buttered Rum Day


Wednesday:
National Peking Duck Day

Thursday:
National Popcorn Day


Friday:
National Buttercrunch Day

and
National Cheese Lover's Day


and
National Granola Bar Day


and
National Coffee Break Day


Saturday:
National New England Clam Chowder Day


Sunday:
National Blonde Brownie Day

    5. We were just having a discussion about hot buttered rum while visiting with my friends after their daughter died. They have a wonderful friend who went from being an ordained pastor in a different faith and has now become an ordained Catholic priest... and he's married with 8 children. He's a riot. He was telling us about the hot buttered rum that he makes and it sounds heavenly. (pun intended) Imagine a hot cider with rum and butter.
