    1. It is so sad to watch it all on tv. I stayed up until 1:30am watching it unfold. Still keeping them all in our thoughts.

  2. Thank you! We awoke to find the power still on. Raining still but not as heavy as yesterday. Rain gauge tipped over I think with the high winds once it filled to 5 inches. I right it later this morning. Have to investigate the portion of the driveway we can't see to check for trees down. I think we lucked out because most of them came down in derecho this summer. Also leaves were off the trees which kept wind from catching them as well.

  3. Check out the Milwaukee news websites. Sandy has stretched this far and is making beautiful waves on Lake Michigan.

    Thankfully all my friends in the NE are safe!!

    1. Oh my gosh, I just checked some of them, that's amazing there is impact so far away. It was a huge storm huh? I guess you are getting into winter? Or close now? Stay warm, and dry!
