This poster image comes from WWII and pushed the US Crop Corps...an organization that promoted having citizens help harvest crops while men were serving overseas. This one was aimed at teens and getting them interested in being part of the Victory Farm Volunteers.
We have to wonder, how many young people today would willingly do something like this?
