HOMEMADE GOODNESS TO START THE DAY

Ah, breakfast...

Farmhouse Biscuits and Dewberry Jam
HAPPY DANCE!
HAPPY DANCE!

Off to the farm today, after this wonderful breakfast of course.  Homemade biscuits, fresh butter, and the last jar of dewberry jam I made two seasons ago.

We had another 2 inches of rain on Thursday, so it will be wet I'm sure.  Today's agenda includes finishing the raised bed weed pulling, porch clearing, and cleaning out the empty beehive in preparation for the new bees coming in a couple of weeks.

Hope your Easter weekend is off to great start!

  3. 2nd Man sure can bake a biscuit! They look delicious! I'll take mine with butter and strawberry jam please. I'm also partial to butter and honey and I would sop one with Grandma's molasses too! Hope you have a great day at the Farm!

  5. Your biscuits look wonderful. I'm always sad to see hard, brown tops on biscuits. Yours look light and fluffy, just as biscuits should be.
