Sigh...
It's cold yet AGAIN today...
There is rain AND sleet in the area...
The skies are gray and overcast and dreary...
Time for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies!
Hope you are having a good weekend, for the 4th time in a row, ours is a bust.
After the heat of the last few weeks we now have mid 20degC which is lovely & not only that but we have RAIN!
ReplyDeleteAfter a hectic week last week with my daughter & 3 grandchildren visiting it will be weeding this week.
Shame about your weekend again.
Yay, rain for you! Yeah, definite bummer, weekends are about my only time to get things done at the farm, especially outside, so I feel like I'm falling behind, ha.
DeleteStay warm! Those cookies have to help, they look delicious & baking them warmed your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen was warm and toasty and felt good. The hot cookies were great too, ha.
Deleteyour solution made me laugh. i had red wine and ravioli with meat sauce to warm me up. :)
ReplyDeleteYum, you had me at 'ravioli', ha. Or maybe red wine, ha. Sounds yummy. You stay warm too!
DeleteThose cookies sound like the perfect thing to have on our dreary-weekend. OK, I'm done with winter and gray-cold - where's my sunshine and warmth?!
ReplyDeleteI am done too, and it's only early January, ha. This is the dreariest weekend so far. SUN! We need SUN!
Deletewe are in for another ice storm. hardly any snow here this winter but lots of horrible ice.
ReplyDeleteIce storms are bad. They cause way more problems than snow huh? Stay safe!!
DeleteYou're still above freezing my dear....but cookies are good any time lol.
ReplyDeleteI know, I always feel bad complaining about cold when I know other parts of the country are WAAY colder, but it's so cold for us, we aren't used to it and it's horrible, ha. YOU stay warm and safe too!!
DeleteNo day is wasting when cookies are baked.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Ha. Sadly they are all gone now, LOL! But we are warm and happy, that's all that matters right? :-)
DeleteI used the $1.50 coupon in the Hershey tin and bought chocolate chip cookies to bake. With another coupon, that tin was practically free.
