NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST!
BLUE SKIES!
AND LOTS, LOTS TO MOW!
ROCKS TO BRING, EDGING TO DO, BEES TO CHECK, PLANTS TO PLANT, TREE LIMBS TO PICK UP...THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON.
Now to see how much we can get done in this first weekend in weeks (months?) that we can spend both days doing stuff.
Us too. My kids and grandkids are in Galveston for vacation so I am so glad it wasn't ruined by all that rain. Maybe the monsoons are gone for the summer. Now, if I can just keep the deer from eating my plants.
ReplyDeleteGalveston, so I hear, was crazy busy this weekend...first nice weekend in so long lots of people going .
DeleteHaven't seen any deer yet. But I hear they are around.
have a good time on the farm! gladto hear you finally have some dry weather!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
DeleteAwww, forget about it. Have a cold drink in a shade somewhere and enjoy your weekend together.
ReplyDeleteHa, thanks! It was hot so there were lots of cold drinks and shade, LOL!
DeleteWoo Hoo.
ReplyDeleteGail is right though - make sure you leave enough time for fun.
There was fun! For the most part, ha.
Deletesounds like some busy days ahead!
ReplyDeleteThey definitely were!! And plenty more ahead too, ha.
DeleteY'all will be busy as bees! The heat and humidity have arrived - so take some time for a cold one - or two!
ReplyDeleteI see what you did there, busy as bees, HA! OMG yes, the heat and humidity...it's one of those things you have to experience to understand, ha.
DeleteSounds like you have a very busy weekend ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteAround here, work is never done as there is always things that need to be done and cared for.
No matter how much work that needs to be done, you still have to take time out for some relax time.
Today is my 46th wedding anniversary, so I done up my canning yesterday so that I wouldn't have to do it today. Not doing anymore than I absolutely have to today. Hubby doesn't know it yet, but he's taking me out to eat later.
I canned 9 -1/2 pints of White Grape Cherry jelly along with some Orange Juice Jelly. Come tomorrow I hope to get homemade chocolate sauce canned.
46 years???? YAY FOR YOU BOTH! Happy Anniversary!! We relaxed, though not as much as I should have, lol. There is never any seeming end to things to do, huh?
DeleteWhite grape cherry jelly? Sounds yummy. I can't wait to start canning some stuff. Hoping to start this this summer, experimenting with various things to can.
Happy day for you two!
1st Man,
ReplyDeleteFinally so nice weather!!! Fun time.......cutting all that grass!!! It took me two days to get our place totally cut and weed whacked. I finished the back just this morning and had to load on the sun screen. Stay cool in this warm weather!!
