BLUE SKIES!

AND LOTS, LOTS TO MOW!

ROCKS TO BRING, EDGING TO DO, BEES TO CHECK, PLANTS TO PLANT, TREE LIMBS TO PICK UP...THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON.

Now to see how much we can get done in this first weekend in weeks (months?) that we can spend both days doing stuff.

  1. Us too. My kids and grandkids are in Galveston for vacation so I am so glad it wasn't ruined by all that rain. Maybe the monsoons are gone for the summer. Now, if I can just keep the deer from eating my plants.

  7. Sounds like you have a very busy weekend ahead of you.
Around here, work is never done as there is always things that need to be done and cared for.
No matter how much work that needs to be done, you still have to take time out for some relax time.
Today is my 46th wedding anniversary, so I done up my canning yesterday so that I wouldn't have to do it today. Not doing anymore than I absolutely have to today. Hubby doesn't know it yet, but he's taking me out to eat later.
I canned 9 -1/2 pints of White Grape Cherry jelly along with some Orange Juice Jelly. Come tomorrow I hope to get homemade chocolate sauce canned.

    1. 46 years???? YAY FOR YOU BOTH! Happy Anniversary!! We relaxed, though not as much as I should have, lol. There is never any seeming end to things to do, huh?

White grape cherry jelly? Sounds yummy. I can't wait to start canning some stuff. Hoping to start this this summer, experimenting with various things to can.

      Happy day for you two!
