It is SO hot here. Daily highs well over 100 and feels like temps around 112 to 115.
Went to the farm yesterday, really only to water. More on that next week. In the meantime, we haven't had a good food and Hobart post in a couple of weeks so...
I made these a few days ago. We call them cheater enchiladas or maybe more appropriately, a sort of enchilada casserole? We use frozen taquitos and cheese and sauce and layer it. I'll have to take some photos of it the next time we make it. Whatever we call it, it's good comfort food for sure.
Here is Hobart spending the day in the sunshine, perhaps because we have the a/c on blast and he needs a little sunshine for some warmth. We push a dining room chair over to the window and of course put his afghan on it for him to sleep on. Because...

It’s so weird that you living in Texas and me living in Nova Scotia Canada we are now having (almost) the same summer temps. All summer so far we’ve been having 95 degrees but with our humidity it makes it feel closer to 115! Global warming is real folks.

Wow!! Yep, things are changing. It's always hot here in the Summer but in the 40 years I've lived here, it's never been this hot this soon and for so long. Sometimes it's 100 degrees well after sunset. Plus y'all have those crazy fires all over. Stay safe (and cool!)
