After seeing so much of the inside planning, we know a lot of you have been curious about what the exterior will look like. Well, here it is...
Our new house!

Here it is from the front. Oh and remember, this is not our color, this is the base color of the Hardiplank siding. From right to left, the garage, front porch, study window and guest room window.

Walking around to the back, the two transom windows are the ones in the garage, the concrete porch you see is my kitchen/grilling porch, then the door into the garage, and the two large dining room windows...

Here is another shot of the other end, dining room windows mentioned before on the left, the center area will be the screened in porch and then the master bedroom windows are on the right end of the house.
Here is the other end of the house, the transom window in this picture is the one in the master bathroom above the shower.
Here it is walking around to take a picture from that side toward the front.
Coming back around the front, the single window is the guest room, and the double one is the study.
And here we are, back at the front!
Our new farmhouse!
There is still more to do outside of course...they have to put the rest of the roof on, finish the corbels and the siding and the board and batten strips, shutters on windows, etc. After that, they move inside and that, we are told, will be a longer process, ha.
One of the final things they will do toward the end of the project is put on the exterior doors, the porch railing, and then they will paint it all.
Thanks for coming along on the journey!

Won't be long until it is completely dried in, then the work really starts!
