After so much sadness, sometimes you just gotta find humor where you can...
Saw this and we cracked up. After all the rain we've had, this feels so true! Besides, everything is bigger in Texas, including our rainfall!
Looks like the rain is gone...and I look at that Sunday number as a 60% chance of NO RAIN, ha.
Oh, and the HEAT IS BACK!
Yup a Texas size for sure! :-)
ReplyDeleteEverything is Bigger in Texas. Loving this :}
ReplyDeleteJust told my husband the other day that Texas needs to build larger rain gauges. Guess they heard me :}
That is one gauge that is measured by feet and not inches
DeleteI like the rain gauge...lol The Alabama rain is big in Birmingham, but bone dry where I am.
ReplyDelete1st Man,
ReplyDeleteThey do say, everything's big in Texas. That rain gauge sure is....LOL!!!
Oh yes, the heat is hear. We have the possibility of severe weather tonight. Hubby and I are going to try to get the grass totally cut. He won't let me do anything other then drive the zen machine (still under doctors orders not to do anything). As soon as we get it cut, the rain will come and then we will have to cut it again. I'm thinking in 2 days it's back on mower duty.
Funny!
ReplyDeleteMy husband runs to our rain gauge after every drizzle. THIS one could at least be seen through the window and save him some steps.
ReplyDeleteBig smiles...
ReplyDeleteI love it! Emptying out would be a bugger!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Sooo funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd yep, you're right - the heat is here. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. “Heat and humidity will create oppressive heat index values again today” - according to a Houston weather forecast.
