A TALE OF TWO SKYLINES

Thought this was an interesting set of pictures...

Downtown Houston Building
Here is a building I took a picture of one morning while we were out for a walk around downtown (always thought this was a cool looking building)...

Farm skyline
Then I went to the farm later that day to mow and took this picture.  Under the same sky on the same day...what a difference 50 miles makes...

Speaking of, I'm on the way out there again today.  It's hot, we've had a bit of rain but that has probably been evaporated by the heat.  Not sure there will be much outside yard work, I think it's safe to say we are officially in the 'dog days of Summer'.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY.

Lovely photo of the high rise buildings and beautiful photo of the sky as well out there at the farm.
We had a nice little shower the other evening but not much to even register in the rain gauge.
Enjoy your day, have a great weekend and stay cool

That is an interesting building. As I looked at the two pictures, I thought how much cooler grass and trees are than buildings and asphalt/concrete.

I'd rather see the sky...but the architecture downtown is interesting too.

That is an interesting looking building, but the farm is closer to my heart.

They are both cool pics. I do understand the lure of the farm. We wound up headed for the lake at 4 this afternoon. It's really great to only have a 45 minute drive.
