Mason Jar Place Settings |
How adorable is this? I've always liked convenience and organization and this combines the best of both worlds. In this case, they used bandannas for a real country feel, but I think you could do this with any sort of napkin or cloth that fit your decor/theme.
Just put the napkin, along with the fork, knife and spoon, in each jar and then you can either keep them all together in one spot (like this awesome galvanized tray) or you could could go ahead and put them at each place setting around your table.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Love those napkins! You could also use the mason jars as drinking cups once the silverware is removed...as long as your guests are into that sort of thing ;-) Slap a sticker or a (nicely cut) piece of tape on the side and have a permanent marker available for guests to get creative :-)
ReplyDeleteBee Girl - Great idea! I like that...utensils, napkins and drinking glass all in one shot! Awesome! You know, i find ideas like this online and save them to share and hopefully use at our farm (and of course I'll post pics of the way we do it too!).
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is so clever! Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteYou must have a secret book or stay on the internet with all those goodies you come up with..or you need another job :o)
ReplyDeleteTonya - Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteLeigh - That's what i like to do is share cool things I find. I figure if I think it's neat, someone else is bound to do the same. Thanks for visiting!
Ginny - Yes, yes and yes, LOL! OK, maybe not a secret book but I do have a shelf full of binders filled with stuff I've saved over the years (more on that in a future post) and yes I do spend an inordinate amount of time online, ha. And yes, I'd love to have another job where I could put all this fun stuff to use. But alas, the insurance biz is kind of boring, ha. Thanks for commenting, I love comments!
